Help & Support

How can we help?

Find answers to common questions about schedules, subscriptions, data, and using Schedora. If you still need help, you can contact us directly.

Getting Started

Schedora is a teacher planner designed for schedules that do not fit neatly into a standard weekly calendar.

You can create weekly, A/B, rotating, or custom schedule days, add your classes, and then make date-specific changes without changing your normal recurring schedule.

Tip: Build your recurring schedule first. Use date changes for assemblies, testing days, holidays, delayed starts, or other exceptions.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Schedora handle A/B or rotating schedules?

Schedora lets you create reusable schedule days and define how those days repeat throughout your school year.

If one particular date follows a different schedule, you can change that date without rebuilding your normal schedule.

Can I change only one school day?

Yes. Date-specific schedule changes are designed for situations such as assemblies, testing days, delayed starts, special schedules, and no-school days.

Changing one date does not change your underlying recurring schedule.

Can I change a single class without changing my schedule?

Yes. Schedora supports changes to individual class occurrences, including changes that apply only to a particular date.

Where is my planner data stored?

Schedora is designed as a local-first app. Your schedules, classes, lessons, notes, tasks, date changes, and preferences are stored on your device.

Schedora does not require a Schedora account or upload your planner content to a Schedora cloud account.

Does Schedora work without an internet connection?

Core local planning features are designed to work offline.

An internet connection may still be required for subscription purchases, restoring purchases, subscription verification, and services provided by Apple or RevenueCat.

How do I export my data?

Use Export Personal Data inside Schedora.

The app creates a readable JSON file containing your planner information and presents the iOS share sheet so you can choose where to save or send it.

The exported JSON file is intended for readability and portability. It is not currently a restorable Schedora backup.

What happens if I reset all local data?

Resetting local data removes your school year, schedules, recurring classes, date changes, class overrides, lessons, and saved planner preferences after confirmation.

Resetting local data does not cancel an active App Store subscription.

Some evaluation information stored in the iOS Keychain may also remain after a reset or reinstall.

Will deleting Schedora cancel my subscription?

No. Deleting the app or resetting its local data does not cancel an App Store subscription.

Subscriptions must be managed through your Apple account's subscription settings.

How do I cancel my Schedora Pro subscription?

Schedora Pro subscriptions are managed through Apple.

On iPhone or iPad, open:

Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Schedora

From there, you can view or cancel your subscription according to Apple's available options.

How do I restore my Schedora Pro purchase?

Open Schedora and select Restore Purchases.

Schedora will ask Apple and RevenueCat to refresh the available purchase and entitlement information.

Make sure you are signed in with the Apple ID associated with the original purchase.

I paid for Pro, but the app still shows limited access.

First, make sure your device has an internet connection.

Then use Restore Purchases inside Schedora.

If access is still not restored, contact support and include the app version and a brief description of what you are seeing.

Please do not send payment-card information or other sensitive financial information.

How does the 30-day evaluation work?

Eligible users may receive a 30-day period of full access.

This evaluation is provided by Schedora and is separate from an App Store introductory subscription offer unless the app specifically states otherwise.

Evaluation eligibility and dates may be stored in the device Keychain and may not reset when planner data is deleted or the app is reinstalled.

What happens when my evaluation or Pro access ends?

Schedora may limit creation and editing when full access ends.

Existing planner information may remain available in read-only mode so you can continue viewing your data.

Can Schedora recover deleted planner data?

Because Schedora stores planner information locally and does not operate a Schedora cloud account for your planner content, we generally cannot recover planner data that has been permanently deleted from your device.

Keep exports or other copies of information you cannot afford to lose.

Should I store student information in Schedora?

Schedora is a personal planning tool, not a student information system.

Avoid storing student records, grades, medical information, safeguarding information, or other sensitive personal information in lesson notes or tasks.

Troubleshooting

If something in Schedora is not working as expected, try these basic steps before contacting support:

  • Make sure you are using the latest available version of Schedora.
  • Make sure iOS is up to date.
  • Close and reopen the app.
  • Restart your device if the issue continues.
  • Check your internet connection if the problem involves purchases or subscription verification.
  • Use Restore Purchases if Pro access is not being recognized.
Avoid using Reset All Local Data as a general troubleshooting step. It permanently removes planner information stored by Schedora on your device.
